We are PDP Dynamics, a New Jersey company providing consulting services. Our website address (our Site) is: https://pdpdynamics.com. This is the only website we operate.
When we collect Personal Information
As used in this Privacy and Security Policy, “Personal Information” means personally identifiable information such as your name, street address, telephone number, credit card information, screen name and email address.
PDP Dynamics may collect and use Personal Information that you provide us when you:
- Request information about PDP Dynamics’ products and services;
- Visit, register on, post to or participate in the features of PDP Dynamics’ website;
- Respond to one of PDP Dynamics’ surveys;
- Provide PDP Dynamics with comments or suggestions;
- Provide PDP Dynamics other contact information.
When you use our Site, certain additional information is collected without you being prompted to provide it. This information includes, but is not limited to, cookies which are covered below.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you use a contact form to get in touch with us, then we will keep your email address and any details or text which you supply along with your query. The information you provide will be used for the purpose of following up on your request.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Surveys
When you participate in a survey we may collect your Personal Information. This information may be used to administer your participation in the survey and for PDP Dynamics’ other business needs, including sending you marketing communications.
Non-voluntary Information
(a) General Tracking Information. Our Site collects information through a number of different technologies, including cookies and Web beacons. Cookies, web beacons and other technical methods may involve the transmission of information either directly to us or to another party authorized by us to collect information on our behalf. Among other things, PDP Dynamics keeps records of the pages visited by each site user. PDP Dynamics aggregates this information with data on the pages visited by other users to track overall visitor traffic patterns. PDP Dynamics uses this information to improve its Site and to develop functions and user tools which will make it more responsive to the needs and preferences of PDP Dynamics customers.
(b) Other Information. We may collect additional automatic information about your visit to our Site, such as time of day, browser type and version, browser language, your operating system and platform, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. This information is used for analytical purposes and to help us provide services to our customers. We may also use this information to administer and troubleshoot our Sites.
(c) Aggregate Information. On occasion we may provide this aggregate information (which shall not include personally identifiable information) to vendors, investors, potential advertisers, or news agencies to demonstrate the amount of interest in our Site and to help us plan for technical infrastructure requirements.
(d) Emails. In HTML emails that we send our customers, we may use technology for a variety of purposes, including, without limitation, determining whether our customers have opened or forwarded those emails and/or clicked on links in those emails, customizing banner advertisements and other messages after a customer has closed the email, and determining whether a customer has made an inquiry or purchase in response to a particular email. These technologies may enable us to collect and use information in a form that is personally identifiable.
A Note on Phishing
A note about “Phishing” attacks: PDP Dynamics will never send you an email requesting you to validate account/password information or personal information such as credit card numbers. If you do receive an email that appears to come from PDP Dynamics and asks for this type of information please forward the email directly to the email address provided in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy and then delete it from your inbox.
Who we share your data with
Other than in the circumstances set out in the other parts of this Privacy Policy, PDP Dynamics does not share or sell your data with anyone outside of the PDP Dynamics company team without your express consent.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). The Site administrator can also see and edit that information.
Non-US Residents
PDP Dynamics is a company based in the United States. If you are not a United States resident, please do not send us any personal information. We reserve the right to remove any Personal Information from anyone we determine not to be a United States resident.
Children’s Privacy
PDP Dynamics does not sell products or provide services to children. Effective immediately, if you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to create an account, leave comments, or make an inquiries on or via our Site. PDP Dynamics does not intend to collect any personally identifiable information from children through our Site. Please do not allow children under the age of 18 to provide any personally identifiable information related to our Site. If we determine that a child under 18 has provided Personal Information in violation of this policy, we will delete that information as soon as practical. If you become aware that such information has been provided by a child under 18, please notify us by contacting us at the email address provided in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we remove you from any marketing lists, newsletters, distribution lists or the like. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
